Shipping/Receiving Manager
Primary Duties:
· Oversee all inbound deliveries
o Ensure the receiving personnel is unloading product safely and in a timely manner
o Check in all product received with customer orders and stock/inventory orders
o Inspect any damaged/defective product and initiate RGA’s when necessary
o Ensure all stock is put away in the correct spots – keeping the warehouse organized, clean, and well-labelled.
· Manage all outbound logistics
o Work-orders readied and assembled
o Communicate with each dealer with a load list and the approximate delivery time so they are prepared.
o Check all loads to make sure the product is loaded in the correct order, un damaged, and properly secured.
o Be the liaison between the office and the warehouse personnel. Warehouse personnel should never need to come into the office and grab paperwork themselves.
o Be the liaison between inter-office Banner locations and stock needs
· Oversee/Manage all pickups
o Greet the morning rush of customers, helping to get their orders from the customer service people out to the warehouse personnel.
o Assign pickups to the appropriate warehouse people
o Assist where necessary
Secondary Duties:
· Customer Service
o Answer incoming calls
o Help answer technical questions
o Provide stock checks for customers and other customer service personnel
o Keep up to speed on lead times, keeping track of Out-Of-Stock items
o Light order entry and quoting
Occasional Duties:
· Cross-Train in Customer Service and Shipping to cover when someone is out
· Provide periodic training to warehouse employees and customer service personnel on an as-needed basis
